Maritime equipment specialist Marine Components International (MCI) has reassured customers that it remains open for business in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Poole-headquartered company provides specialist import, warehousing, distribution, sales and technical support for marine equipment including Bennett Trim Tabs, Groco marine hardware, Duarry liferafts, Anchorlift, Rocna Anchors and Dr Shrink shrink wrapping.
Managing director Andy Scott said the firm’s stock levels are good, with orders being processed as normal.
He said:
“At this difficult time we would like to reassure customers that MCI is open for business and stands ready to provide support in whatever way we can.”
“An effective business continuity plan is in place and our stock levels remain strong. Incoming orders are being processed as usual, and we will continue to deliver in short time frames subject to carrier availability.”
“We are continuing to closely monitor government advice and have been proactive in taking steps to reduce risk and ensure the health and wellbeing of our staff, customers and the wider community. Employees are working remotely where possible, and suitable precautionary measures have been put in place to protect team members carrying out business critical roles at our Poole headquarters.”
